When everything feels a bit too much, remember that everything is temporary. Overwhelm, especially in today’s fast-paced world, is an eager friend that will find you filled with anxiety and paralysis. Remember, this is temporary. This, too, will pass. Take time out. Give yourself permission to stop, close your eyes, and breathe. Just one or two conscious breaths will help you engage balance. What one thing can you do to move forward?

What will your day bring your way? Take stock of where you are at in this very moment. What can you choose to release? What can you choose to set aside for a moment? What can you choose to take forward? Give yourself permission to support you. One step, one breath, one move at a time. Remember, everything – including thoughts and feelings – is temporary.
