The Eyes are the Windows to the Soul
The View From My Window
There is a great deal to see from here
I find myself watching the world and noticing the things that sit beneath the noise.
Things like the assumptions we no longer question, the small moments that reveal something much larger, or the strange things we have learned to call normal.
Every so often, something catches against my attention and refuses to leave. So I follow it.

The Lens
Looking Outward. Looking Closer.
The View from My Window is where I write about the world as I encounter it — culture, society, work, human behavior, beauty, power, technology, community, and the peculiarities of being alive together.
These are not dispatches from a mountaintop. I am in the middle of it too: watching, questioning, and occasionally muttering at the furniture.
I am less interested in supplying conclusions than in staying with something long enough for another possibility to appear.
Sometimes that means looking at something enormous, and sometimes the entire thought begins with one small thing I noticed over coffee.
Either way, I would rather pull up a chair than stand at a lectern.
Curiosity notices what certainty overlooks.
